Some sewing progress

So, I've been working on the dress that I want to wear at the meet-up this weekend.
First I cut the straps off, so that it looked like that:

 Then I used the straps to create a pattern for new ones, that are a little different. Then I transferred it onto the fabric and cut it out:

Then I sewed the pieces together, onto the dress and then I adjusted them a bit. And this is what it looks like now (although the dress lookd a little deformed on a hanger XD):

Oh, and I wanted to show you my beloved sewing machine:

 It's a brother DS-140 and I LOVE it! I got it for Christmas last year from my boyfriend and my parents ^^
