Yes, it's already 2013 and there hasn't been a single post on here since August.
How could that happen? Well, I simply had a lot to do.
My new job is fantastic but takes up a lot of my former free time (Well duh, that's what jobs do! :D), so I just didn't find it in me to write a lot.
Maybe just some keynotes to my current situation: I love my job as a dancing and Zumba instructor, I still don't have my driver's license but hopefully will get it this month, I have barely time to do some sewing or embroidering and even less time for Lolita :(
But I had a wonderful birthday and Christmas in december with great presents (such as a foot spa massager from my wonderful boyfriend :) The best gift ever for someone who has to stand and dance all day ^^) and a great New Year's Eve at my dearest Vroni's. Speaking of it:
I wish you all a wonderful and happy new year!
Stay healthy and work hard on your New year's resolutions ;)
Oh, and Hurley says Hi from under the Christmas tree :)
The situation hasn't really changed: I have a lot to do and not enough time. Which feels weird to say, because in the evenings I just sit there and stitch or do nothing. But that's mainly because I'm just exhausted from the day. -.-
Last week Stefan and I decided to just take a sunny day off and go swimming. For me it was the first time in 4 years and I finally got to wear my new beautiful swimsuit. I can't believe I waited so long to do this again, it was so refreshing and so much fun! I definitely need to do this more often. While we were drying in the sun we took this picture of us and I think it's so cute *___*
As I told you before, I have a new stitching project, but it's just a smaller, abstract one that I need to "collect" colours for a bigger one after it. Here you can see my progress so far:
I haven't worn Lolita these last weeks, so there's no outfit to show you. Unfortunately, there is no meet-up planned in this next month but only in September at the earliest. Which kind of sucks because I don't know if I'll have any time to attend one then, because my apprenticeship starts on the 1st of September and especially the first months will probably be quite demanding. Maybe I'll just dress up on my own, I really miss the frills.
Oh, does anyone of you want to see Stefan and me dance? Stefan made his DTSA (Deutsches Tanzsport-Abzeichen) in silver two weeks ago and my parents taped it. The more I watch it, the more I hate it, because our technique is a catastrophe, but everyone seemed to like it, so it can't have been all that bad:
The first dance is Samba, then ChaCha, then Jive and the last one is a Tango.
Sorry for neglecting my blog, I'm just really busy at the moment.
Between work, internship, driving school, training and being sick (damn it!) I just didn't find the energy to write something, but nothing special happened anyways. Right now I actually just want a day off, without ANYTHING to do, no one visiting, no one calling, just relaxing, I haven't had a day like that in weeks -.-
I finished my stitching though:
But now I have a hard time finding a next motif for stitching. Any suggestions?
I also have an outfit to show you but again, nothing special. It was just for meeting friends:
not even a petti...
At the dancing school, things are going great. The people all seem to like me and I can't wait to work there fulltime. It is a bit frustrating to see everyone dance and not be able to dance myself though. Since I was sick and there was a big football match anyways we didn't have training last week and I just miss it soooo much! We danced a little at home but it's just not the same.
At the moment I'm in a bit of a competitive mood. I really want to have more training and do competitions. Even if we wouldn't win anything, I just want dancing to go beyond this hobby-status. There is going to be a competition in November that I'm thinking about joining, but I don't know what my partner and my trainer think about that.
By the way, I've had this blog-design for over a year now, so I'm thinking about changing it. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated :D
So, my internship at the dancing school is over - sadly. It's quite frustrating to go back to "normal" work after being so active and dancing so much for a whole wonderful week *____*
But luckily there will be much more dancing and teaching for me, because - YES - I signed my indenture and will become a dancing instructor!!!
The apprenticeship officially starts on the 1st of September, but I'll already do a little training and working at the dancing school earlier in summer. And I'm even allowed to come to the summer courses! Zumba galore! :D
I can't wait for it to be summer, this is sooooo great! I can't believe my dream is actually coming true *____*
And we even signed the indenture already on Thursday, so only halfway through the week! I guess I made a pretty good impression ^^
So now my next "big project" is getting a driver's license, which seems pretty scary to me at the moment. And expensive -.- But luckily my lovely boyfriend supports me :-*
And there has also been some progress on my stitching, the first corner is done:
Yes, it's exhausting and yes, I have a boatload of aching muscles and YES, at the end of the day my feet hurt like hell but DAMN, it's awesome!
I was sooo nervous on the first day (as you may recall :D) and then I even was a few minutes late because there are road works in Radebeul at the moment that I didn't know of. But I called them from the bus and told them I'd be some minutes late and it was no problem.
When I got there my hopefully future-to-be-boss showed me where everything was and then the first course where I took part was a Bronze-course for adolescents. (Bronze means that they already had a beginners' and an advanced course) Afterwards there was a course for small children age 4-6, which was... ok. Not really my thing because I don't like kids but ironically I'm still actually pretty good with them. But they are so loud and twirly @.@
Unexpectedly, half the amount of 11-14 year old girls are even louder than them, as I experienced afterwards at the Videoclipdancing-course, which was really cool. I was in a course like this when I was younger and I didn't realise how much I actually like and miss it :D
Afterwards came Lady-Power, which is a course for... "middle-aged" women who like to dance ChaCha, Salsa and stuff like that but who don't have any men to dance (or whose men don't want to dance). So basically we do dance routines in a more fitness-based choreography. It's really cool!
And the last course on that day was a Bronze-course for adults.
Yesterday in the forenoon there was a... well, "light Lady-Power"-course for elder people which was also fun.
In the evening there were 3 dance-clubs, first for elderlies and then 2 for adults. Dance-club means that already took part in some or all the "normal" courses and now they come to just dance and improve their dancing.
Today is going to be pretty exhausting. First two courses with adolescents, then one with first- and second-graders, then Zumba, Lady-Power and in the end another course for adults.
I just hope my feet survive this day :D
Oh, and there have already been several hints that I might actually get (or already have?) the apprenticeship place *YAAAAAAY* (by the way, I realised that I called this week "apprenticeship" in the last posts. It's of course only an internship XD)
There has also been some progress on my stitching. That was already at the weekend, though. Now I don't have time work on it :D
You can hardly see it, but there are actually 7 different colours in it XD White, black, and 5 different shades of grey.
Okay. So tomorrow is the big day. (Actually today, it's already past midnight O.O) My apprenticeship starts.
And I'm soooo nervous >.< I'm just so scared of screwing it up or doing something wrong or embarrassing! I really want this to work out great, especially since there is no real plan B for me.
So please keep your fingers crossed for everything to go well!
Oh, and this Saturday I got a really nice Valentine:
I have no idea who you are, but thank you so much! I wish I could give you a huge hug right now *__*
How are you all doing? I'm fine, but pretty nervous because on Monday my apprenticeship in Radebeul starts. I just hope everything works out fine, I really, reeeaaally want that job >.<
Yesterday my wonderful boyfriend and I made a trip to Zwickau to finally buy some dancing shoes for him.
Now he has a really good latin pair from Paoul, one of the leading brands for dancing shoes.
And I don't even know how I deserve this, but he also bought me a beautiful pair (also from Paoul)! *_____*
How does Hurley sneak into almost every photo I take? Anyways, Stefan's and my shoes ^^
My new shoes in their incredible beauty *__*
And again, I really need to clean that mirror XD
I've also been a little crafty again. I started a new stitching project:
It's the picture that is also on my favourite necklace, remember?
And I'll hopefully also manage to sew a skirt this weekend, I'll need it next week.
How are you all doing? Fine, I hope!
I know there hasn't been in a post in quite a while, but there hasn't been much happening here ^^"
Last week I was sick, but luckily I'm almost well again. And since my apprenticeship at the dancing school in Radebeul is coming up, I'm in need for some new clothes. Lolita is not really suitable for this job and neither are my other clothes, so Vroni and I made some use of the good weather today and went shopping.
I finally wore Lolita again, even if only in a veeery casual coord:
I really need to clean that mirror...
This is what I bought:
A blue dress, a black top and pinstripe trousers that I still have to shorten the legs on. It was on sale and pretty cheap, so I'll just do it myself. But I also bought a plain black one that was more expensive, so I'll let the seamstress of the shop do it on that one ^^"
And furthermore:
A teal coloured top with a cowl-neck (I swear it's teal, the colour's just not showing that good on the picture) and simple black sports-trousers for the more sporty courses :)
All in all a pretty good haul I think, especially since some of the pieces were on sale.
And now, after a long and hard day of shopping, walking around the city and laying in the sun (harharhar), I'll enjoy my self-made Iced coffee.
I wish you all a nice evening and enjoy your weekend :)
...and I found some good news :D
I admit, that was after easter, but still ^^
This year easter came as quite the surprise. Suddenly it was just... there... So as a spontaneous gift I made some apple-marmelade for my parents which is now famous as the "floating marmelade" because I stored it upside down and now it sticks to the top of the glass XD And when my parents visited us on Sunday, I made a cake. And it was the first time, that I was 100% happy with a cake I made. Don't get me wrong, I made a looot of cakes already, but I always find something that I don't like about it. But this time I was so happy that I had to take a picture ^^ So here it is, my perfect Strawberry-advocaat-cake:
Sooooooooooo yummy! *_________*
My parents gave us two private lessons with our dancing instructor as a present for easter, by the way ^^ Such a great idea *_____*
And now for the good news: Do you remember how I told you about the job interview at the dancing school that I really wanted to be working at? Well, I haven't heard anything from them yet. You may guess: That's not the good news :D
About a week later I had another job interview in Radebeul near Dresden. And it turned out, that this is just the perfect dancing school for me! The conditions for the apprenticeship are fantastic, the owner of the school is super-nice and the I think we got along great.
And now he's contacted me about a "Schnupperwoche" (a week at the dancing school to check out how we work together) and afterwards we'll conclude the indenture ^^ (probably. I'm afraid to get too excited now and then be disappointed if it doesn't happen. But he was pretty clear about it in his mail, so... yaaaay probably :D)
And that goes for all of us - Stefan, Hurley and me.
A big thank you to all of you who had their fingers crossed for Stefan on Friday. There were no problems during the operation and the doctor and Stefan are pretty pleased with the result, even though you can barely see them at the moment because his whole face is still swollen. As long as the painkillers work he feels really good, unfortunately they didn't work that well in the first days -.- But it's getting better.
Maybe you remember that on Tuesday I had another job interview and this time at the dancing school that I really REALLY want to be working at.
So in order to make the best impression possible I bought a new dress that looks pretty chic and formal and in order to make it a little more "me" I paired it with teal tights and the obligatory flower in my hair ;-)
You may also notice that I had my hair cut. It was really necessary but still I'm sad that it's so short again and that I once again have these shorter and longer parts (I don't know the English word for Stufen XD) because they make it so damn hard to get them long again :(
The problem is that my hair is just too thick and heavy for a straight cut. Kind of sucks, even though I'm actually proud of my thick hair.
The interview went... I guess from an objective point if view it was good and we got along well. But actually they prefer people who are already experienced ballroom dancers and then I had to show some dances (8 to be exact) alone and the floor was so slippery that I was barely able to take a decent step, plus I was super-nervous. Needless to say that I'm not happy with my performance.
But still one of the interviewers was very eager on setting a date for a possible internship and now I just have to wait for them to contact me and tell me if they want me to make the internship. And again: Keep your fingers crossed :D
Yaaay, this is my 100th post!
Sadly there's nothing special I have to say today XD
I was thinking about making a giveaway, but I'm not sure yet, though I might have an idea for it.
Today was the last training together with my beloved Stefan for now, because he's having a major surgery done on Friday and won't be able to dance for some time. I'm happy and proud because Olga (our trainer) said that she sees a lot of potential and improvement in us, but at the moment my sorrow about Stefans operation prevails :(
I don't even want to think about Friday, though the Gang will be there to take my mind off of it. Luckily he'll be able to come home already on Saturday but I have to admit that I'm scared of that. I just hate seeing him in pain, so I hope everything goes as best as possible and that the painkillers do their job properly.
To ease my mind, the Gang and I'll probably do some sewing together and I already have some new projects up my sleeve, though they are not that exact yet. But part of the fabris are already there, they just need to be pre-washed:
Sadly the tartan in the front is not of the quality that I wish it was, I should have ordered a sample first -.- Anyways, I'll have to make it work somehow...
I wish you all a good night. Sleep tight and keep your fingers crossed on Friday, so that everything goes alright with the surgery ;_______;
... on how my job interview in Leipzig went: It was okay. Not bad but also not Oh-my-God-so-awesome.
Now they'll also check out the other applicants and then they'll tell me if they want me to do a placement at their dancing school. Let's hope for the best, even though commuting between Dresden and Leipzig everyday is not the most charming thing in the world -.-
So let's hope for even better things when it comes to my next interviews! Good news are, on the 20th there is one here in Dresden and on the 29th there is one near Dresden, so I guess I consider my letter of application successful ^^ Keep your fingers crossed, a place here in Dresden would be f***ing awesome!!!
When I came back from my interview in Leipzig, Sophie asked if we wanted to meet at our favourite cocktail bar and who'd say no to that? (okay, Vroni did ;D)
So we hurried home from the train station, I changed and then I went out again :D
I wore the chiffon dress that I finally fixed:
Pretty casual, but it was "just" having cocktails ^^
Oh, and in my last post I forgot to show you my cool nail polish (even though you can't see it that good in this picture)
Black with golden glitter <3 From the Essence "Circus Circus" LE
Yesterday I finished the project of which I had posted a teaser last time, and here it is:
Hurley tries really hard to be in every single picture I take :D
I didn't sew the skirt, I just painted the golden stripes onto it. It used to be a dress from F+F that I bought two years ago (this one to be exact), but it was too big and looked hideous on me, so I turned it into a skirt, which was also too big. Now I finally made a fitting skirt out of it and decorated it nicely (I am a sucker for black-gold combinations). Just in case someone might ask, I didn't actually make perfectly straight lines myself. If you look closely you can see that there are rows of pintucks and I just painted every second one gold :D
I really love how it turned out and look forward to wearing it. I just hope it doesn't look too weird because my petticoats are actually a little too short for it... we'll see ^^
When it comes to my private/professional life: I'm on a roll :D
When I brought my application to the dancing school the day after my last post, I had a really nice talk with one of the owners and now they'll contact me soon about an internship to check how we work together (at least that's what she told me, but she seemed really confident and I think she liked me ^^).
On the same day I also got two invitations to job interviews, one for a sideline here in Dresden and one from a dancing school in Leipzig that I had sent my application for the apprenticeship to.
The interview for the sideline was today at a callcenter that Vroni also works at and I'll start working there next Tuesday ^^
The interview in Leipzig is on the 9th of march, one day before the meet-up :D I hope it goes well... (though I of course hope to stay in Dresden, but it's always good to have a second option)
And yesterday I brought my application to another dancing school here in Dresden. Unfortunately no one seemed to be there so I just dropped it into the mailbox but I guess it doesn't matter that much, they'll receive it either way :D
And then I discovered another dacning school near Dresden that I'll send an application too.
I just hope everything works out well >.<
Training was really exhausting today @.@ We only did latin dancing today and half the time we just did Samba technique so I guess I'm looking forward to aching muscles in my legs (and basically everything :D) tomorrow. And it's so difficult -.- Samba used to be Stefan's and my favourite dance when he finally started dancing with me but now it has become my least favourite latin dance because there are so many things that you have to pay attention to. Of course there are a lot of things to pay attention to in every dance but they feel more natural to me. Probably because I also practice them at home during the day sometimes, while I always avoid the Samba. But today a woman from another dancing group asked us if we danced in tournaments because we're so good. That really made up for all the hard work :D
(Yeah, maybe this isn't all that interesting to you but I think I'll write some more about dancing in the future because it's such a huge part of my life. I love it just as much (or probably even more than) Lolita or the other things I usually write about, so it's actually quite curious that I write so little about it...)
And to finish this post, have another "Schmankerl" from the amazing Yulia ^^ This might even be my favourite choreography from her and Max.
Last weekend my fellow manatees and I got an incredibly sweet valentine:
I feel the same way, you girls are fabulous and I wouldn't want to miss one of you! <333
I just wish we had more time for each other, it's been a while since we've all been together :( But luckily the next meet-up is coming up ^^ *ongk ongk ongkigongk*
And I've been tagged again, this time by Mara! (I love doing these :D)
So here we go:
1. What's your favourite flavour?
I love coconut flavoured things! (like chocolates or liquor) Ironically I don't like eating coconut itself though XD And of course I also love anything that is/tastes like strawberries ^^ (btw, for Valentinesday I got strawberries from my boyfriend <3 He's so cute ^^)
2. What's your dream destination to travel to?
Scotland ^^ Edinburgh, to be exact, though Inverness and Fort WIlliam would also be nice... any Scottish place basically ^^ But I'd also love to go to Paris and Finland one day.
3. Do you wear nailpolish?
Actually I really like nailpolish, but I hate waiting for it to dry XD That's why at the moment I'm not wearing any :D
4. What would you take with you on a lonely island?
A boat :D
5. Your favourite weather?
When I can stay inside I love rain and stormy weather. When I'm outside I love when it's snowing and when it's cloudy but not raining.
6. Which characteristic do you wish for?
I wish I was more patient with myself... and a maybe a little more extroverted.
7. Sunshine or shadow?
Shadow
8. Can you keep a secret?
Yes, I can. I want other people to keep my secrets, so why shouldn't I do so myself? ^^
9. Do you have an idol? If yes, who and why?
I don't really have an idol... Though I admire Yulia Zagoruychenko for her dancing skills, body control and her charisma. Just watch this and be amazed:
10. What's your favourite piece of clothing?
That's difficult... I really like my Flocky Rose Metamorphose skirt... but maybe it's my rose-skirt that I sewed last year, because I'm really proud of how it turned out and I wear it a lot ^^
11. Is the world going to end this year?
Nah, I don't think so ^^ I'm looking forward to the hysteria, though ;D
I won't tag anyone though, I can't think of any questions right now XD
By the way I'm happy to say that thanks to my beloved Stefan I had a very relieving talk with my parents and the world looks a little brighter for me again. I've also already managed to write a few applications, though when I wanted to bring the ones located in Dresden to the respective dancing schools, I had to discover that they are closed at the moment due to school holidays -.-
But anyways, the ones for dancing schools in Leipzig are already sent. So let me hear a huge Accomplishment-YAAAAY for me :D
Although, before all those good wishes and all, just a few words about my last day.
Just in time I'm done with wrapping the presents. Did I mention that I love wrapping presents? I do *____* I should've bought more just so that I could have wrapped more XD
Anyways, here are those for my parents: (I won't show you those for my boyfriend because he reads my blog :D)
And I won the sparkling surprise at Mara's Giveaway *___* I can't wait to see what it is ^^
It's the first time that I won at a giveaway! Thanks again for that :)
And yesterday evening(/night :D) was the Christmas-party of our dancing club and it was really fun!
There was a lot of food and beverages (and even though I stuck to only one kind of beverage I have a headache and a kind-of-hangover) and it was great to meet our fellow "students" out of a training context. But still we did a lot of dancing, especially since every couple had to perform one dance in front of everyone. We performed the Jive, one of our favourite dances and luckily everything went well and they all liked it.
Later also Olga (our trainer) performed several dances together with her partner, which can be a little depressing XD It makes yourself look pretty bad in comparison :D
And then Stefan and I won the Lambada-Discofox-Freestyle-competition (even though we had the feeling that we just randomly threw our arms and legs around XD).
Oh, and we exchanged Secret Santa gifts ^^ I got Raffaello (my favourite sweets) and a cute pair of earrings. Thanks for that :-*
Olga also folded little hearts and filled them with sweets as a present for everyone of us, it was so cute >.<
So here are my "acquisitions" of the evening:
Sweets on the left, my new awesome earrings in the middle and our "gold" medals from the competition on the right ^^
Sooo, I don't know if I will be able to post when I'm at my parents' (which is where we're going today), so I wish you all a merry, merry Christmas! I hope you get lots of presents, have a great time with your beloved ones and enjoy delicious Christmas feasts ;)
There's no denying it anymore: Christmas is approaching and this becomes especially evident today because it's time to light the first candle on the Advent wreath. Though we don't really have a wreath, we just have a candle stand that I decorated:
I've also already decorated parts of our flat, but I'm not yet done with it.
And what would the Christmas season be without christmas biscuits?
I was already busy in the kitchen and made some ^^ Have a look:
These still need decoration ^^
And last year my parents gave us the coolest christmas cookie jar ever:
Isn't it cute? I love that fat little laddie :D The biscuits inside are cherry biscuits. I had hoped they would turn out red but they became more rose (and a little brown on the sides -.-)
I can't wait to eat some of them later (while drinking hot cocoa and watching the world championship in formation dancing ^^).
Yesterday I was at the Lolita meet-up here in Dresden but more on that in the next post ^^
On Saturday Stefan and I visited Sophie and her boyfriend to practice their dancing again. I have to admit, I'm starting to like the idea of becoming a dancing instructor.
Anyways this is what I wore. You seldomnly see me in such bright colours XD I've had this dress in my closet for ages but it just looks like a sack on me, but now I had the idea of pairing it with a waist belt and I really like how it looks. One without, once with cardigan:
Hihi, who spots Hurley in the background? XD
Their dancing is really getting better by the way, I had nothing to say to their Quickstep for example :)
And Sophie made some delicious apple pie <3
Here you can see them dancing and me closely watching their feet XD
When we got home we had some friends over to have a few drinks, talk and play ^^
We played SingStar, Just Dance and Extreme Activity, it was a really funny evening.
Here are some leftovers from Extreme Activity. Everyone who finds out what the three drawings on the first paper were supposed to mean can take a cookie from my virtual cookie jar :D
How are you all doing? Are you anxiously awaiting Halloween with its parties, costumes and horror-movies?
As for me - I'm not. I haven't planned anything, not even watching a horror-movie because I don't really like them XD The only thing that Stefan and I are doing on monday is giving some dancing lessons to Sophie and her boyfriend. We'll see how spooky that will be ;)
By the way, Stefan and I have finally started dancing in a real sports club. It was about time, at least for me. 10 years of dancing and just now I enter a club XD
It's great but also challenging, perfect for me <3
To come back to the title of this post: For one of my courses this semester I had to read "The Talented Mr. Ripley" by Patricia Highsmith. I was a little sceptic in the beginning because usually I don't like crime stories but I soon realised that it is not really a crime story. It's rather a thriller, maybe even psycho-thriller and even if not, Ripley's psyche is very important. The novel is about Tom Ripley, an American who earns his money with smaller jobs and frauds, who is being send to Italy by a businessman. His task is to bring Dickie, the businessman's son, back to America after he has spent several years as a painter in the village Mongibello. Instead of asking him to come back he befriends him, but ends up killing him and decides to live on under Dickies identity.
Okay, that was a short and very bad summary and no, I have not told you the ending, you'll find Dickie's death in every summary you read XD
I haven't done a book review in quite some time and I'm not really in the mood to do it now, so just in case you'd like to have something interesting and well-written to read: Try "The Talented Mr. Ripley". I liked it so much that now I want to read the other Ripley-novels that Patricia Highsmith wrote after this one.
Of course there has been some progress on my stitching:
Hurley obviously wanted to do some shameless self-promotion :D
I ran out of blue thread today, maybe I'll buy some more tomorrow... or I'll sew something instead and continue with it next week ^^
By the way, you may have noticed it in the sidebar: I've joined poupéegirl. If you also have an account, feel free to add me ^^
Yay ^^ I really like it but I think as soon as I'm done with this I won't be able to look at blue thread anymore. I seriously can't wait to use different colours again XD
Today Stefan and I helped our dance instructor Marco to teach waltz and chacha to the beginners ^^ We'll be helping him out until his sister comes back from her stay in America by the end of November (actually they teach together).
It was the first time for me to dance in my new shoes <3 They are awesome! As usually, new shoes don't fit perfect, they were a little tight at my left toes (my left foot is slightly bigger than my right one) but they are real leather, so they can and will widen a little throughout the time. But still they are sooo comfy <3 I'm in shoe-love *____*
And then I want to show you another quick-and-dirty outfit that I wore last week and really liked:
I'm happy to say that finally we're planning another Lolita meet-up. I can't wait to really dress-up more fancy again and meet other Lolitas. Maybe there'll also be new faces? Well, we'll see.
Time to think about what to wear ^^
Imagine me singing the words above to the melody of "Dancing Queen" and with a delirious smile on my face *____*
My lovely boyfriend bought me a pair of dancing shoes! Not just shoes that I can wear to dance, but REAL dancing shoes! I can't even express how happy and thankful I am! I guess I just have the best boyfriend ever ^^ I love you, my dear :-* (though of course not only because you buy me things, but I'm sure you know that)
I have to admit, if I had had to chose according to look I would have picked a different pair, but these just fit best:
Not the best photo, I know. I just wanted to show you the bag that came with it ^^
Buying them was a little adventure of its own. Sophie came along with me and my boyfriend to have a look at some shoes and we had to sit down, put our shoes under our seats and were only allowed to try the dancing shoes on on a footmat and a part of laminate. An old lady, who was also there to buy some shoes, stepped on the laminate with her normal shoes and the shopkeeper immediately had to wipe it clean. Although it wasn't even dirty -.- The shopkeeper herself was... let's say special XD She didn't really listen to our wishes and just told us several times the same stories about her own 11 pairs of dancing shoes XD And she kind of scared us by telling us that it usually takes 2 to 4 hours to find the perfect pair of shoes @.@ In the end it really took almost two hours and several pairs to find it ^^
Anyways, speaking of my cute boyfriend: I took this twee picture of him and our cat Hurley a few days ago. It's so sweet how he always curls up on Stefan's or my lap *___*
Now I also want to show you an outfit snap and the obligatory (and blurry -.-) progress picture ^^
Nothing special, but I like how the dress looks with an underskirt and I just love my hat and my flower hair pins ^^
